Special scripture prayer when praying for someones salvation/restoration WORKS! This is good for the prodigal also.

I wanted to share a little something with all of you about praying a loved one to salvation or restoration. I found this to be a very interesting bit of overlooked scripture by myself on salvation. The story below is told by Marilyn Hickey, of who I support her ministry now and then, and she is a upstanding woman of God and all about Gods truth...so if she says it works, I believe her. As well as the principle of why scripture would bring the prayer result for sure, being Gods Word, is just logical when you ponder the power of it. In our armor of God, what is our key weapon? The Bible, it is the sword of the Spirit. Scripture is our key weapon against satan! So wanted to share this scripture for salvation to those here, as salvation is the greatest miracle of God. Speak and claim this over your lost loved one!

Subject: 1 John 5:16 Spouse prayer
Some neat stuff from Marilyn Hickey:

Once, while we were in Turkey, I had an unusual experience. here we were...seated at dinner...I had just gotten off the plane...everybody in the team was tired...and there were 8 people seated at our table. The woman across from me said, "You know, I have recently seen 3 of my loved ones get saved. I didn't give them a tract. I didn't take them to church. I didn't buy them a book. GOD JUST MOVED ON THEIR HEARTS."

So I said, "Why do you think that happened?"

She said, "I took 1 John 5:16 where it says, "You shall ASK for [LIFE...]and GOD WILL GIVE THEM LIFE,' and that's what I did." She continued, "For years, I've prayed for them but this time I took that scripture and claimed it for them and stood on it...and in a short while, all 3 of them got saved."

I thought, "I know that scripture. In fact, I've memorized the whole book of 1 John and I never saw this verse used that way." And so I got my Bible...read the verse and exclaimed, "How simple this is! How could I have missed it?" AND THAT'S WHEN THE LORD SHOWED ME HOW TO ADD THIS REVELATION TO THE SUPERNATURAL WEAPONS OF MY WARFARE...AND THEN SHARE IT WITH OTHERS. And let me tell you...it really works! If you see someone slipping away...missing it...losing it...you can "Ask for Life" for them and "God will give them life."

Prov. 31:8 tells us that we can speak for those who cannot speak for themselves...for those who are pointed towards destruction. That's where you and I come in. Love, Me
1 Chron 4:10

BATTLING THE SPIRIT OF DIVORCE
I will exalt You, my God the King; I will praise Your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise You and extol Your name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom. The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made. Lord, You uphold all those who fall and lift up all who are bowed down. Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame. Thank you Lord, that You have seen (spouse's) ways, but You will heal (spouse); You will guide but You will heal (spouse); You will guide (spouse). (spouse's) heart is in the hand of the Lord; He directs it like a watercourse wherever He pleases. Cleanse (spouse and you) with hyssop, and we will clean; wash us, and we will be whiter than show. Create in (spouse and you) a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within us. Search us, O God, and know our heart; test us and know our anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in us and lead us both in the way everlasting. Amen.

Grant that ___________ and ___________ would humbly accept Your conviction and will change as You deal with him or her (John 16:7)

Prayer against adultery - pray a hedge about your spouse:

Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my cry, do not be silent at my tears. Put my tears in a bottle, are they not in Thy book? Since I am afflicted and needy, let the Lord be mindful of me. Thou art my help and deliverer. Do not delay, O my God." (From Psalms 56 and 40)

My close friend, _____, in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted up his heel against me. For it is not an enemy who reproaches me, then I could bear it, nor is it one who hates me who has exalted himself against me, then I could hide myself from him. But it is _______, a man my equal, my companion and my familiar friend, we who had sweet fellowship together." (Psalms 41 & 55)

Let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous. In the net which they hid, their own foot has been caught. Hold them guilty, O God, by their own devices, let them fall! In the multitude of their transgression thrust them out for they are rebellious against Thee. Let them be appalled because of their shame. All my enemies shall be ashamed and greatly dismayed. They shall turn back, they shall suddenly be ashamed. Let me not be put to shame, O Lord, for I call upon Thee. Let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent. In Thee, O Lord, I have taken refuge. In Thy righteousness deliver me. (Psalms 7, 9 & 31)

Though they intend evil against Thee, and devise a plot, they will not succeed. When my enemies turn back they stumble and perish before Thee. Thou hast blotted out their name forever and ever. The very memory of them has perished. Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more. And you will look carefully for his place and he will not be there. But the humble will inherit the land and will delight themselves in abundant properity. (From Psalm 21)

"Thou dost surround the righteous with a shield. In peace I will both lie down and sleep. For Thou alone dost make me dwell in safety. Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and call upon Me in the day of trouble. I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me. (From Psalm 4)

"Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the Lord. Be their shepard also and carry them forever. I would have despaired if I had not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord, in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the Lord. (From Psalm 27)

"For your huband is your Maker, Whose name is the Lord of Hosts; for the Lord has called you, like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of ones youth when she is rejected, says Your God" (Isaiah 54:5-6)

"I ask You, Father, to rebuke and bind satan in the Name and through the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. I ask you to build a Hedge of Thorns around ______ so that anyone who is interested in him will lose interest immediately and leave. I base my prayer on the command of Your Word which says, "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate" and "Marriage should be honored by all and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral." and, "The husband should fufill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wifes body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husbands body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife.", as well as, "Dont you know that you yourselves ae Gods temple and that Gods spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys (defiles) Gods temple, God will destroy him, for Gods temple is sacred, and you are that temple", "The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. By His power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and and unite them with a prostitute? Never! Flee from sexual immorality. All others sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, Who is in you, Whom you have received from God? You are not your own, you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body." Therefore I will block ______ path with thorn bushes, I will wall ________ in so ________ cant find his way. ______ shall chase after his lovers but not catch them. _____ will look for them but not find them, then ____ will say, I will go back to my wife, ____, for I was better off then than now. Therefore I will allure ____, bring ______ into the wilderness, and speak kindly to _____. For I will remove the names of Baals from _____s mouth. Then the Lord said to me, "Go love ______, a (man) yet an adulterer. For this reason a man, _____, will leave his Father and Mother and be united to his wife, _____, and then they, _____ and _____, will become one flesh. Havent you read He replied that at the beginning the creator made them male and female and said "For this reason a man, ______, will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, _____ and the shall become one flesh". So they, _____ and _____, are no longer two but one, therefore what God has joined together let man not separate. I hate divorce, says the Lord thy God of Israel. Husband, ______, love your wife _____ just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy cleansing her, _____, by the washing with water through the Word. In this same way husband, _____, ought to love his wife, ____, as his own body. Drink water from your own cistern, and fresh water from your own well ______. Should your springs be desperesed abroad, streams of water in the streets? Let them be yours alone, and not for strangers with you. Let your fountains be blessed, ____, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, _____. As a loving hind and graceful doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times. Place ____ like a seal over _____s heart, like a seal on ____s arm, for ______s love for ____ is as strong as death, _____s jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench _____s love for _____, rivers cannot wash it away. If _____ were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned. For though _____ walks in the flesh, _____ does not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of ______s warfare are not of the felsh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of the fortresses. _____ is destroying every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and _____ is taking every thought captive to the obediance of Christ. For I now rejoice, not that ____ were made sorrowful, but that ____ were made sorrowful to the point of repentance, for ____ were made sorrowful according to the will of God, in order that ____ might not suffer loss in anything through us. For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation. but the sorrow of the world produces death. Lord God, Your Word says that if I see a man sin and it is not a sin that leads to death, that I should pray for him and if I pray for him, You will give him life. Father God, in the Name of Jesus and in the Blood of Jesus shed for _____ and I on the cross of Calvary, that both _____ and I accepted as a payment for our ransom, and asked Jesus to take our sins upon Himself so that we may have life, I come before You day and night unceasingly lying my prayer and petitions before You for ______'s life. Bring him out of captivity Lord God, give him life in You, and restore him to his land. Your Word is Your promise to us that hope in You. Please Lord God, do not hide Your face from me, reach down and rescue us from the pit. Keep Your Word Father God, show us Your mighty hand in our marriage circumstance as I do not and will not focus on the circumstance itself, but will focus on You, keeping my eyes upon You Lord, knowing that You will turn our marriage circumstance around, that You, Lord God, will reverse the curse on our marriage! I love You Lord, I thank You with all my heart. You, Lord God, are my first love, my hope, my light in the darkness, my reason for living. For the only thing worth living for has been the blessing of being chosen by You Father God, to be a heir in Your Kingdom, to be called Your child, to know that I am spoken for by You. Preserve my life Lord God, preserve Kevins life, preserve what You have joined together and make it whole in You. I praise Your Holy Name. Lord life me up and set me on the solid rock and I will endlessly sing and dance my praises to You and I will proclaim Your mighty works all the days of my life! I love and thank you Father God..forever and ever, and I ask all in the precious Name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen

Pray Away Un-Godly Friends
Psalms 88

O Lord, the God who saves me, day and night I cry out before you. May my prayer come before you, turn your ear to my cry.

For ______s soul is full of trouble and _____s life draws near the grave. _____ is counted among those who go down to the pit. K_____ is like a man without strength. Kevin is set apart with the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom you remember no more, who are cut off from your care.

I call to You, O Lord, every day. I spread out my hands to You. Do You show Your wonders to the dead? Do those who are dead rise up and praise You? Is Your love declared in the grave, Your faithfulness in Destruction? Are You wonders known in the place of darkness, or Your righteous deeds in the land of oblivion?

But I cry out to You for help, O Lord; in the morning my prayer comes before You. Why O Lord, do You reject ____ and hide Your face from him?

From _____s youth he has been afflicted and close to death; _____ has suffered Your terrors and is in despair. Your wrath has swept over _____, Your terrors have destroyed ____. All day long they surround _____ like a flood; they have completely engulfed _____. You have taken _____s companions and loved ones from him; the darkness is _____s closest friend.

Ephesians 1 - 2
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed ________ in the spiritual realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. In love He predestined ________ to be adopted as His son through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will - to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given ________ in the One He loves. In Him ________ has redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of Gods grace that He lavished on ________ with all wisdom and understanding. And He made known to ________ the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment - to bring allt hings in Heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.

In Him ________ was also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, in order that ________, who is the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of His glory. And ________, you were also included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, ________, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing your inheritance until the redemption of those who are Gods possession - to the praise of His glory.

For this reason, ever since I heard about ________s faith in the Lord Jesus and ________s love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for ________, remembering ________ in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give ________ the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that ________ may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of ________s heart may be enlightened in order that ________ may know the hope to which He has called ________, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the Heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that an be given not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way.

As for you ________, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobediant. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, ________, you were by nature objects of wrath. But because of His great love for ________, God who is rich in mercy, made ________ alive with Christ even when ________ was dead in transgressions - it is by grace ________ has been saved. And God raised ________ up with Christ and seated ________ with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to ________ in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you ________ have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourself, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that one can boast. For ________ is Gods workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for ________ to do.

Therefore, remember that formerly ________, you are Gentile by birth and called uncircumcised by those who call themselves the circumcision (that done in the body by the hands of men) - remember that at that time ________, you were separated from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigner to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you, ________, who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. For He Himself is your peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed tthe barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in His flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to creat in Himself one new man out of two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through their hostility. He came and preached peace to you ________, who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

Consequently, ________, you are no longer foreigner and alien, but fellow citizen with Gods people and member of Gods household built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone. In Him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in teh Lord. And in Him You too, Kevin, are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit.

~ Deliverance Prayer ~

Praise be to the Lord, for He has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to You in song. The voice of the Lord is powerful the voice and the Lord is majestic. The Lord gives strength to His people, the Lord blesses His people with peace. Lord, I have not stopped praying for my spouse and loved ones asking God to fill each of them with the knowledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And I pray this in order that each of us may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please You in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that each of us may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For He has rescued our loved ones from the dominion of darkness and brought each of us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Lord, we pray You will put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to Your earthly nature that is coming against me and my loved ones: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Bur rid each of us from all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from our lips. I pray that we will not lie to each other, since we have taken off our old self with its practices and put on the new self which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Lord, clothe us with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievance that we may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave us. Lord, pour on each of us love, which binds us all together in perfect unity. Lord teach us to devote ourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Pray that our conversations will be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that we may know how to answer everyone. Lord, teach us always to wrestle in prayer for our loved ones, that we may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured. Lord, we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. If God is for us, who can be against us? We are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Show us your ways, O Lord, teach us your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long. Create in me and my spouse a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. I cried to the Lord in my trouble and he saved me from the distress. He brought me, my spouse and loved ones out of darkness and the deepest gloom and broke away their chains. Let us give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love. You alone are my rock and my salvation; You are my fortress, I will never be shaken. Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; His love endures forever. Amen

Prayer to Restore

Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my cry, do not be silent at my tears. Put my tears in a bottle, are they not in Thy book? Since I am afflicted and needy, let the Lord be mindful of me. Thou art my help and deliverer. Do not delay, O my God." (From Psalms 56 and 40)

My close friend, ______, in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted up his heel against me. For it is not an enemy who reproaches me, then I could bear it, nor is it one who hates me who has exalted himself against me, then I could hide myself from him. But it is ______, a man my equal, my companion and my familiar friend, we who had sweet fellowship together." (Psalms 41 & 55)

Praying For Revival In Your Marriage and Family

Marriages and families are struggling to survive today. Satan is throwing an all-out offensive against these institutions. The world is attempting to lessen the sanctity and the importance of these institutions. A lack of commitment is wreaking havoc in marriages and families.
In the midst of all this, the church must stand for marriage and the family. The primary way to do this is through intercession. We must pray for the marriages and families that make up the church.
The following is a simple pattern for praying for the families in your church. It is based on the acrostic F.A.M.I.L.Y. This pattern provides a powerful way to intercede for the families in your church. You can use this pattern to plead for revival in your own marriage and family. I plead with you to pray for the marriages and families in your church. Through prayer, strong and godly marriages and families can be a living reality. Instead of complaining and lamenting about the breakup of marriages and families, we should be praying and pleading with God for them.
Faithful to hear and obey the Word of God (James 1:21-25; John 14:23). Pray that the Word of God will be the foundation on which this family builds. Ask God to give each one a hunger for the Word of God. Pray that they will put into practice what God commands in His Word.
Active in serving Christ and His church (Hebrews 10:25; Mark 8:34-38). Plead with God to create in this family a longing to follow Jesus and to serve in His church. Pray that each family member would know Christ and would faithfully serve Him.
Maintain their prayer lives (Luke 18:1; Colossians 4:2). Pray that each member would have a heart for prayer. Ask God to create in each family member a longing to spend time with Him. Ask God to release a spirit of prayer in the family. Pray that the family would establish a family altar.
Introduce others to Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8). Pray that the family would be witnesses for Christ both with their lives and their lips. Ask God to give the family boldness in standing for Jesus Christ. Plead with Him to remove anything that would hinder them from being powerful witnesses.
Love as God loves (1 John 4:7,11; 1 Corinthians 13:4-8). Pray that this family will love each other with deep and unconditional love. Ask God to remove anything that might hinder them from loving each other.
Yield themselves to God's protection (John 8:44; Ephesians 6:10-20). Pray that this family will confess and repent of sin. Ask God to enable them to cut off any avenue that Satan might use to attack them. Call on Him to convict them of the necessity of the armor of God. Plead that He would protect them from the attacks of the enemy.
