HOW TO PRAY
GOD SPEAKS

The most important thing I have learned in praying for anything, the miracle bringing breakthrough prayer vigil is accomplished with praying scriptures over your spouse. This is how Jesus fought the battles with satan when He walked the earth. When He was tempted on the mount by satan, every thing satan threw at Him, He replied back to him with scripture, "The Lord Saith". Gods word is absolute truth, it is Gods promises to us as his children, it is Gods promises to those who do not accept him as well, what will become of them. Everything that God did in the Bible, every miracle, every help, every battle won, He has that for us now as well. Anything there is ours to claim and have manifest. The enemy cannot stand against Gods word, because it is the truth..he is defenseless against it, when it is spoken in a situation, it has to manifest and satan has to release the situation, he has to flee from you.

Praying scripture is praying with authority, it is powerful and it cannot fail you. There is scripture for every need you have in the Bible, even to cut the unGodly influences off from your spouse. Ezekiel Chapter 36, verses 24 thru 36 is a passage that you can pray over your backslidden spouse for instance. Just place your spouses name into the scripture where appropriate, such as verse 25-26 "I will sprinkle clean water on ________, and ______ will be clean; I will cleanse ______ from all his/her impurities and from all his/her idols. I will give _______ a new heart and put a new spirit in _______; I will remove from _______ his/her heart of stone and give _______ a heart of flesh. And so on. One of my favorite scriptures to pray over my spouse is Song of Songs Chapter 8, verses 6-7. I pray it, "Father God, in the Name of Jesus, Place me like a seal over Kevins heart, like a seal on Kevins arm, for Kevins love for me is as strong as death, his jealousy as unyielding as the grave...and so on.

Praying scripture is the same thing as prophesing to our situations. Some may call it naming and claiming it as well. God tells us in Ezekial to prophesize to what we need done.

As blood bought children of God, we have the authority to speak His words and the angels in Heaven will go forth and perform them, just the same as if the Lord speaks them. The angels harken to the voice of the word of God.

Psa 103:20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

Note it says hearkening unto the voice of His word, not unto His voice, but unto the voice of HIS word. We are the voice speaking His word, we are the voice of His word that the angels hearken unto.

Heb 2:5 For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.

Psa 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. Luk 4:10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

Mat 26:53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

He says that He puts His words in our mouths, and will hasten His word to perform it.

Jer 1:9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
Jer 1:11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
Jer 1:12 Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

Lets look at some of the other ways this last scripture is interpreted in other bibles, the above is the KJV. Here are some more:

Jer 1:12 "You are right," the LORD said, "and I am watching to see that my words come true."
Jer 1:12 Then the Lord said to me, You have seen well: for I keep watch over my word to give effect to it.
Jer 1:12 Then said Jehovah unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I watch over my word to perform it.
Jer 1:12 And Jehovah said to me, You have seen well; for I will watch over My Word to perform it.

God tells us that He watches over His biblical word to perform it. The angels hearken to the voice of His word. Wow...so think of it, when we speak His word in faith, knowing it is done, the Heavenlies start hopping, angels start dispersing to go out and do His word, God moves and starts ordering His word done, sending the Holy Spirit out, and just commanding things into existantance!

Isa 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
MORE:
Isa 55:11 so shall My Word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall certainly do what I sent it to do.
Isa 55:11 So also will be the word that I speak--- it will not fail to do what I plan for it; it will do everything I send it to do.
Isa 55:11 So will my word be which goes out of my mouth: it will not come back to me with nothing done, but it will give effect to my purpose, and do that for which I have sent it.

I also encourage you to fellowship with God from your heart. Talk to Him as a child to your Father, from your heart. I urge you here to remember that our Father is Omnipotent, He can read our minds, but satan is not. So when praying from your heart, pray silently to the Father, as satan is ever listening to your prayers to see what he can learn to use against you, so he can know your fears, worrys, etc. Keep these kinds of prayers and talks between you and the Father, and pray scripture out loud so you are declaring Gods word over your situation, you want satan to hear scripture prayers over your marriage. Scripture prayers and the Holy Spirit interceding in Gods language (tongues) are the only prayers you want to speak out loud. Otherwise guard yourself as he is always on the prowl seeking who he may devour.
